more adventures in tummy time

As irene gets older, she's more tolerant of playing on the floor like this. It's good for strengthening her young neck, which she also likes to headbutt us with.

after a while though, she gets a bit frustrated, both because she's not exactly mobile and because she's staring at a quilt for minutes at a time. so at those points i'll put her on her back.

since she was born, irene's lost a bit of hair, so it looks like she's sporting a fierce widow's peak from certain angles.

i took advantage of the time, though, to sneak in a photo with her, with at least one of us making a dopey face.
